The Mega Fashion Hall Degustation (Part 2) #MegaFoodTour

From the desserts and appetizers, the second part of the our food tour focused on the main course.

8. Boqueria Restaurante + Chocolateria (closed)

Ever a fan of churros and paella, I was very curious with Boqueria since it opened and was happy that my curiosity was answered by this food tour.

We were welcomed by two Spanish chefs, and was introduced to the dishes that they prepared for us.

Sangria Roja

While sipping on Sangria Roja (Php 228), we were served Paella Queso Manchego (Php 398) and Churros (Php 160, 3 pcs).

As I always mention, I'm a huge fan of cheese and I love how they generously put manchego on the paella. I should go back to try their other dishes.

9. Abe

Abe is a Filipino restaurant that offers authentic Kapampangan dishes. It comes from the LJC Group, which also houses Fely J's Kitchen, Lorenzo's Way, Cafe Adriatico, and many more.

As I really enjoyed their Sampaloc Shake, I was more astounded with their Lamb Adobo

Among all meats that I eat, lamb is usually the toughest one so I was amazed at how tender and flavorful this Lamb Adobo is. A definite must-try!

10. 8 Cuts Burger Blends

My current favorite burger restaurant, 8 Cuts Burger Blends, has opened its new location at Mega Fashion Hall.

We were introduced to different burger blends, especially the Ox Blend, and the different burger tributes. But of course, you can create your own burger with your chosen beef blend. I can't wait to revisit this place!

11. Lugang Cafe

Lugang Cafe is a Chinese restaurant offering authentic Taiwanese dishes. I have been curious about their Xiao Long Bao for the longest time and I'm glad they have opened a new location near me. :)

The Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao (Php 248, 8 pcs) was a little delicate to eat, but before we dug in, we were shown how to eat it properly.

We also sampled Spicy Sliced Offals (Php 280), Breaded Shrimp Balls with Mozzarella (Php 420), and Mango Pudding with Fresh Diced Mango (Php 100).

What amazed me the most was the Traditional Arabian Coffee (Php 240), which is good for sharing or to one heavy coffee drinker. Love it!

12. Vikings Luxury Buffet

Instead of having a buffet at Vikings, we were served with a degustation plate.

We had a Beetroot Soup and a sampling of Lumpiafish Caviar Om Blinis, Vikings Scandinavian Gravlax, Spicy Ika Sushi, Venish Terrine with Blueberry Compote, Steamed Red Lapu-Lapu Fillet, Mini Tornado, and Spinach Mushroom En Croute Consomme

13. Pinkberry

A franchise from the US, Pinkberry serves different yogurt flavors with fresh toppings you can choose from. I couldn't wait to try their yogurt smoothies as well. :)

14. Lucca Bakery

For our last stop, we were served a hot Bianca Mocha and Banana Walnut dessert from Lucca Bakery. Located at the 5th Level of Mega Fashion Hall, Lucca serves freshly baked bread and cakes using authentic ingredients. The little bakeshop is also serving coffee drinks, which I will try on my next visit.

Also included in the food tour are Bono Artisanal Gelato and Baked by Anita
