Caffe Firenzo

Note: This location is already closed.

There are few things that make my day: coffee, cheesecake, or a breakfast meal. Since my friends are too tired to go somewhere else (and somebody's in a no-rice diet) so we tried Caffe Firenzo.

Caffe Firenzo is a quaint coffee shop that originated in Davao and began opening its branches in Metro Manila. They offer Lavazza, an Italian coffee brand.

I would love to try their coffee but it was a really hot day, so I decided to try something cold instead: Rocky Road Smoothie (Php 135) with a breakfast meal, Schublig Sausage breakfast meal (Php 180).

Schublig Sausage meal

What I've noticed about the Rocky Road Smoothie is the whipped cream. It's a bit sweeter than Starbucks whipped cream. It's less expensive too. The Schublig Sausage meal comes with a fried egg and rice. The sausage was a little overcooked, but I  love Schublig so it almost didn't matter. A breakfast meal would always be my little piece of heaven.

My friends ordered Pasta Bolognese (Php 190) and Tuna & Cheese Panini (Php 155).

The serving of Pasta Bolognese is quite generous and judging my friend's speed in finishing this dish, I think she liked it. My friend (who's on a strict diet) got the Tuna & Cheese Panini wasn't disappointed with his order either. We had fun picking on the potato chips though.

Caffe Firenzo is a perfect place if you want some peace and quiet in the middle of a busy district. The place is quite spacious where you can spend the whole day reading a book or do work on your laptop.

They also have crepes, which I will try the next time I visit.
