Jollibee Chicken & Mushroom Pasta and Sundae Mix-Ins

I salute Jollibee for making a huge effort in developing their menu and introducing a new item once in a while. As always a curious cat, I would always try whatever's new in Jollibee's menu.

So I recently tried Jollibee's newest pasta item, the Chicken and Mushroom Pasta. It's available for ala carte (Php 55), with drinks (Php 70), or with 1 piece Chickenjoy and drinks (Php 122).

Chicken and Mushroom Pasta have chicken bits, mushrooms, and special tomato sauce. It's not as sweet as Jolly Spaghetti and has more of an Italian edge to it. This is not the first time that Jollibee introduced an 'adult' spaghetti because a few years ago, Jollibee offered Pasta Italiana, which was only available for a limited time. (I think I was still in grade school then, haha).

I also tried their newest dessert item, Milo Blast Sundae Mix-Ins (Php 37).

It's Jollibee's vanilla ice cream with crushed cookies, Milo powder, and Milo breakfast cereals. I always have a thing for anything chocolate, so it's a winner for me. It's a good summer quick fix too.

I think it's an excellent idea that Jollibee offers a not-too-sweet pasta since not most people prefer their pasta sweet or Filipino style. I'm happy that Jollibee chose to innovate their ice cream items since their previous crushed ice desserts didn't really work for me. Also, I think they have to avoid using styro for take-away orders.
