Latest Discovery: Dapar Puto Pao

A colleague discovered Dapar Puto Pao in a tiangge (temporary flea market) and when another colleague ordered this for a small celebration, I request to add a small box for me. Puto Pao is a white bun with Asado or pork fillings. We used to make Puto Pao at home, sometimes using tuna instead of pork. Since we don't have time to make our own, this is a good alternative.

Dapar Puto Pao is in boxes which makes it easy to bring home. A small box of Dapar Puto Pao (Php 135) has 15 pieces of Puto Pao with cheese on top, while a big box (Php 270) has 30 pieces.

It was delivered a bit hot that I quickly tried a piece, it was really good! It wasn't sweet, unlike some versions that I've tried before. We steamed the pieces left in the fridge after three days and it's still as good as fresh. I could tell my baby siblings loved it too since I only got to eat a piece at home.

I'll be ordering another box soon.
