Adventure: 2nd Anniversary

Took this photo while riding a habal-habal in Samal Island. Ahhh, the things I do for love.. :)

On this exact day two years ago, the frustrated writer in me opened this blog as an avenue of thoughts and anything random. Slowly, this blog turned into where my real passion is: food and travel.

I'd first like to thank you guys for all the comments, tweets, likes, etc. Thank you for reading and assuring me that I'm making sense after all. haha.

The past year has truly been an adventure. I got addicted to travelling, having gone to Davao, Cebu, Iloilo, Guimaras, Bacolod and Puerto Princesa in a span of five months. I've tried exotic food, tried a giant slide straight to the sea, chased the last fastcraft trip (and realized that being a girl is quite an advantage), rode a habal-habal with no hesitations and many more.

Will be travelling again in a few days, and I can't wait to share my stories when I get back. :)

Also, I've just had my first staycation at F1 Hotel Manila with my foodie friends. Thanks for having me.

F1 Hotel Manila
I'm grateful to have met talented chefs, restaurateurs, and entrepreneurs. You amaze me, guys. And thank you for linking my food reviews to your websites (Ang Mo Kio, Oriang by Cafe de Bonifacio, Brotzeit and Yabu), and social media accounts. I really appreciate it.

My kilig moments. <3 <3 <3

I feel fortunate to have met the food bloggers and food writers that I look up to. I have learned a lot from them: the newest restaurant, lighting and photography tips, travel stories and many more. I'm happy to be sharing meals with you guys. I really love spending time with you. :)

This blog has recently changed its look from emo-ish template to a beautiful one. Special thanks to HeyLadySpring for making this possible. I still owe you dinner. :P

I've also added Home Cooking 101 segments, to share the simple dishes or snacks I prepare at home. It's still a work-in-progress as I'm still learning how to cook slightly complicated dishes. Wish me luck! :)

Thanks for the event invites as well. Thanks a lot Spanky, Kim and many more. My apologies if I cannot accommodate some of the invites, as I have a day job to pay the bills and to be able to try more food places.

Thanks to my friends, who understands that I should take a photo first before they eat the food. Thanks also to my blogger friends for the utmost support. I'm truly grateful that I have also met a lot of awesome people through blogging.

Methinks my cheeks are as huge as this already. hahaha.

I do admit I still have a lot to learn, from as simple as using metal chopsticks to pronouncing Schweinshaxn. And yes, take better photos. hahaha. :)

Again, thank you guys for reading this blog. Hope I'd keep another year of sharing and learning.

PS. Oh, I'll launch another giveaway within the week. My Manang's Chicken giveaway is still on-going.  Hope you'll join!
