Weekend Staycation at F1 Hotel Manila

It's been months since I actually had a vacation, and to someone who loves traveling, it would seem like years, decades even. That's why I was pleasantly surprised when I was invited to spend a weekend at F1 Hotel Manila. Girl badly needs relaxation.

F1 Hotel Manila is the first hotel to open at Bonifacio Global City. With its strategic location, modern facilities, and delicious food, F1 Hotel is a perfect staycation spot for everyone.

F1 Hotel Manila main lobby

The hotel's main lobby is located on the 5th floor. We were asked to proceed to the Premier Lounge on the 3rd floor where we were served freshly brewed coffee, fruit juices, and pastries.

Our group was personally welcomed by F1 Hotel's General Manager, Mr. Laurence Peña, and  Director of Operations, Mr. Tony Co.

After the simple assembly at the Premier Lounge, we went upstairs to our room. Note that your keycard will only work with your room's floor for security purposes.

Our room for the weekend was the Fort Suite King (best available rate: Php 8820). It looks more like a condo than a hotel room.

The living area is quite spacious, with a desk, closets, a mini-bar with a mini-fridge, coffee/tea maker, and 32" LCD TV with cable. The bedroom is in a separate room, with a king-size bed, 32" LCD TV  with cable, closet, ironing facilities and in-room safe.

The bathroom wasn't cramped as well. We were provided towels, bathrobes, and other basic necessities. What I loved most was the rain shower head (that's something I'd love to have at home.)

Our room also has wi-fi and broadband access.

Also located on the 3rd floor is F All-Day Dining and the Pool area.

Infinity Lap Pool
Wading Pool

F1 Hotel Manila has three pools: a kiddie pool, a wading pool, and an infinity lap pool. If you aren't in the mood for a swim, you can just relax in the area, or maybe order some snacks and drinks at The Canary Lounge.

Canary Lounge

The veranda has an awesome view of the Bonifacio Global City. This is where we spent the majority of our stay there.

On the 3rd floor, the mezzanine is the 24-hour gym and the soon-to-be-opened spa. As of now, they offer room services for the massage, rates start at Php 900++.

During the evening, we gathered at the Canary Lounge for our Barbecue Bonding.

Barbecue Galore!

We had a fine selection of freshly-grilled meats, like fish, chicken, pork belly, sausages, and more. We also had some salads, baked potatoes, and other veggies for sides. I liked the Hungarian sausages and Grilled Pork Belly best.

The next day, we started our day at F All-Day Dining for the breakfast buffet. I super love breakfast food! :)

I was happy that they have an omelet station. Hurray!!! :)

So I asked the chef to cook me my favorite: cheese, tomato and onion omelet. Love it!

Here's what I had for breakfast:

Salami, Chicken Longganisa, Scrambled Eggs, Pancake, Mini-Ensaymada, Beef Tapa, Bacon
Cereals, Pan de Sal, Bacon, Beef Tapa
Coffee and Fresh Milk

I loved that F1 Hotel Manila is within walking distance from Bonifacio High Street, Burgos Circle, S&R, and other establishments in BGC. The service is definitely top-notch. I'll surely plan another staycation at F1 Hotel Manila and bring my family along.

Thanks to F1 Hotel Manila for the wonderful weekend.

  1. How was their bacon? On most hotel breakfast buffets I tried, the bacon is always makunat. Kahit na sa 5-star hotels.

They have really luxurious looking pools though. :)
