A Sweet Treat from Swensen's

After our food trip at Levante, my friend Rhoda and I decided to walk towards Eastwood Mall to have some desserts, or maybe coffee.

My friend suddenly stopped in front of Swensen's and pointed out this sign...

See that?!?

Buy One Take One!!! Wow!!! Turns out it was Swensen's Eastwood's first anniversary. Lucky day, hihi. :)


We hurriedly went inside and asked which items were included in the promo. We were told by the server that everything on the menu is included -- except for the fondue, too bad as I was imagining taking down a fondue set single-handedly.




After a moment of reflection, we decided on having one of their signature sundaes, the Gold Rush (Php 220).

It has scoops of chocolate and coffee ice cream with caramel and hot fudge, topped with nuts and whipped cream. At this point, my friend and I dug in. I love that we didn't have to share the ice cream. hahaha! :)

I'd love to try the other sundaes, milkshakes, and fondues but after having dinner at Levante, I simply couldn't take more. I guess I'll have to give Swensen's another visit soon. :)

    Havn't tried this too but my little sisters have and they told me it was nothing special. Hmm my only problem is you have to order the same thing for the buy 1 take 1 promo? I wanna try 2 variants for myself =p

      Oh, the promo was a one-time thing only. :) To each his own, but maybe Swensen's is sticking with the traditional flavors. :)

    We passed by Swensen's MOA recently. They serve only desserts lang pala? Sayang naman. They're savory dishes are also really good. Hope they venture out more in the future. Parang sayang naman if they're just an ice cream place lang. =)

    Haven't been to Swensen's again after my first trip, but I liked their sundae. Will definitely visit the Eastwood branch naman when I'm in the area :D Hope by then, may promo ulit XD
