A is here!
After our spa date, we searched for a place to have coffee and ended up at La Creperie.
I have always loved La Creperie but it's been years since I last visited.
For dessert, we shared Apple Crisp a la Mode (Php 260), a crepe version for apple pie.
Apple Crisp a la Mode |
Apple pie (or its variations) is not really my first choice for dessert, but this dessert certainly hits the spot. The texture from the cinnamon sugar and oatmeal walnut crisp blends well with the stewed apples. I would definitely have this again (and not share. hehehe).
As much as we love coffee, something caught his attention that he simply couldn't order it.
Angelina's |
He ordered us Angelina's (Php 210), La Creperie's piece de resistance, served in a small tray with whipped cream and dark chocolate on the side.
It is an insanely rich hot chocolate made better when mixed with whipped cream and dark chocolate. We couldn't contain our happiness while sipping this drink that we struggled with words after we emptied our mugs. Seriously, it is the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted.
La Creperie is one of those overlooked dessert places. Seriously, this place serves mean crepes and hot chocolate from heaven. I'm still dreaming of Angelina's, and I must have it again soon.
