I was very fortunate to be given an exclusive advance preview of the UK's number 1 coffee chain: Costa Coffee.
Costa Coffee was founded in London in 1971 by brothers Bruno and Sergio Costa. Costa has since become a global brand with 3000 stores around the world.
At Eastwood Citywalk branch, Costa Coffee's flagship location in Manila which will open on June 29, I was able to try some of their drinks, snacks, and desserts.
I had to try their bestselling drink, the Flat White (Php 150) for something hot, and Double Chocolate Cookie Mocha Frostino (Php 165 for medio) for ice-blended.
The Flat White is my type of drink, with espresso and steamed milk. I highly recommended not to add any sweetener as it is good by itself. I was surprised that the Double Chocolate Cookie Mocha Frostino is a bit on the bitter side, maybe because of the dark chocolate added to it.
I also had one of their sandwiches: Tuna with Seasalt and Italian Vinegar Cucumber on Ciabatta (Php 130). Costa Coffee PH also has exclusive items for the Manila stores: the Mango Sago Mousse Cake (Php 150) and Calamansicle (Php 85).

I always love tuna sandwiches and I love Costa's simple take on it. The Mango Sago Mousse Cake is light and not too sweet, and the Calamansicle has a good sour kick on it.
I also tried one of their delicious cookies, the Salted Caramel Chip (Php 70) and the Original London Cheesecake (Php 150).

I love the crispy texture of the Salted Caramel Chip and I would love to try all their cookies. But as I cheesecake fanatic, I didn't miss out on the Original London Cheesecake. OMG, I love their cheesecake! <3
