The Perfect Pint

I was invited by Zomato last week to try this gastropub in Crossroads BGC: The Perfect Pint.

The Perfect Pint is a beer drinker's paradise as they serve local craft beers on tap, best paired with delicious Filipino and Asian dishes.

I was able to try the Pivo Praha Weizen (Php 250 for 400mL/Php 210 for 330mL) and 32nd Street (Php 250 for 400ml/Php 210 for 330mL).

Pivo Praha Weizen (4.5% ABV, 20 IBU) is light and refreshing while 32nd Street (5.7% ABV, 14 IBU) is more on the sweeter side.

For appetizers, we had the Tuna Tenders (Php 260) and Oyster Sea-Sig (Php 385).

Tuna Tenders
Oyster Sea-sig

Tuna Tenders is beer-battered tuna testicles served with fresh salsa and red vinegar while Oyster Sea sig is fresh oysters with special mayo and dressing. I really enjoyed dipping the Tuna Tenders in red vinegar. Both dishes are must-tries!

For main dishes, we were served the Truffle Pizza (Php 490) and The Perfect Pint Sausage Platter (Php 660).

As I am crazy for anything with truffle, I fell in love with their Truffle Pizza, a thin crust homemade pizza with mozzarella, gruyere, truffle cream and truffle paste. I loved this! A perfect pair to Pale Ale or IPA is the Sausage Platter, an amazing variety of grilled sausages served with fries.

Hands down to the hardcore dish, Kapal Face with House Pickles (Php 660)!

Kapal Face with House Pickles

It is brined deep-fried pork mascara served with house pickles and special sauce. I appreciate that this dish is chopped to bite-size pieces, so I easily popped it in my mouth while chugging my beer. Heaven!

For desserts, we had The Perfect Pint Cheesecake (Php 320) and Freshly Baked Caramel Brownie Smores with Rhum Raisin Ice Cream (Php 330).

I was a little disappointed with The Perfect Pint Cheesecake as it wasn't the rich cheesecake I was expecting. However, I quickly moved on with the Caramel Brownie Smores and felt contented. I love how the warm brownie almost melts in my mouth. It is indeed a lovely finale for a wonderful meal.

The Perfect Pint is not just for beer drinkers but for foodie who appreciate fine food. I'm seriously taking my friends here soon.

Thanks to Zomato Philippines for having us.

  1. Everything looks yummy! The tuna tenders, they're really made of tuna testicles?! :-0

  2. Glad you were able to go na. Remember we were supposed to meet up there but you weren't able to come? I love their beers. You should try their cocktails too, my favorite is Love in a Vineyard. I know two of the Tempongko brothers who own the place. :)

    1. Hi madmader! Yes, it was so traffic then so I wasn't able to go. :(

I should try their cocktails next time. Thanks for the tip and hope to see you again soon. :)
