Cookbook Kitchen

My fellow foodie and good friend KC recently gave me a dinner treat to one of her favorite places, Cookbook Kitchen. I honestly wasn't familiar with the place, either wasn't reading enough or usually zero in Sambokojin whenever I'm in Eastwood.



I was half-expecting a humble resto that resembles a kitchen, but instead, Cookbook Kitchen has a high ceiling, wide spaces, and elegant interiors.


Since there were just two of us, we kept it simple. For pasta, we had Frutti Di Mare (Php 280).

Frutti Di Mare

Frutti Di Mare has shrimps, squid and white fish with seafood sauce. I'm not much of a seafood person but I liked this pasta dish.

As suggested by my companion, we also ordered their bestselling dish, the Parmesan Crusted White Fish (Php 200 for petite, Php 320 for sharing).


Parmesan Crusted White Fish

It's a baked fish topped with parmesan cheese. It was also served with steamed rice, which I almost ignored since this dish is too delicious. Another factor would also be that I'm a sucker for boneless fish. This dish is just perfect.

With reasonably priced and yummy dishes, I'd definitely be back for more of Cookbook Kitchen. If you'll ever visit, don't miss the Parmesan Crusted White Fish. It is really to die for.

    Parmesan crusted fish is the best! Although I also love their adobo. Oh wait this is the 1880 branch? I work in the very same building! LOL

    You and KC had a food trip, why are we not invited? *sob* haha! Just like everyone here, love their Parmesan-Crusted White Fish too! It's their branch in Mandaluyong that I used to frequent to, I think I should pay a visit at their Eastwood branch as well :)

    Try also Kittin's Scarlet Cake from Cookbook. My classmate created it :) It's also one of their best sellers!
