The peeps are back!!! Well, not permanently. They went home for the holidays last month, and it wouldn't be complete if we won't have a simple get-together.
I have been visiting this North Park branch since I started working. I've seen their neighboring restos close down, but this resto has remained opened for years. Also, this particular branch is quite spacious that they were able to sit us though we arrived during a busy hour.
To start our meal, we had dimsum: Siomai (Php 88 for 4 pcs) and Steamed Fresh Prawn Dumpling (Php 223 for 6 pcs).

We had their Signature Dishes: 3 Kinds of Mushroom with Broccoli Flower in Oyster Sauce (Php 153), Salt & Pepper Spareribs (Php 203) and Salted Garlic Squid (Php 208).

I love the broccoli flowers. I find each piece really big to finish on one bite though. The Salt & Pepper Spareribs and Salted Garlic Squid are comfort dishes that we never miss whenever we eat at North Park.
Our ultimate favorite dish in North Park is the Boneless Honey Lemon Chicken (Php 223).

The combination of sweet and sour from the honey lemon sauce on top of the crispy chicken is simply heaven! I almost forgot about the fried rice.
Speaking of the fried rice, we ordered Yang Chow Fried Rice (Php 168) and Fookien Style Fried Rice with Sauce (Php 176).
Fookien Fried Rice sauce |
Fookien Style Fried Rice is usually served with the sauce already mixed in, but I requested that the sauce be separately served from the fried rice so we can control how saucy we want our fried rice to be.
One must-try beverage that you should order at North Park is the Fresh Lemonade (Php 83), but somebody's really corny that she got Iced Tea (Php 63) instead (it was me.hahaha)
I always enjoy eating at North Park. The prices are very affordable (we spent less than Php 300 per person for this meal) and the dishes are really good. For the resto I call "the last man standing", this place must be doing something really impressive.
More than the food, I also had a great time bonding with the guys. I wish I could spend more time with them. I've been wanting to visit them, wish I could do that soon.
Have you been to North Park? What's your favorite North Park dish?
