Lunching at Clucky's

Note: This location is already closed.

I got really excited when I learned from friends that the "Clucking Soon" sign I've been seeing for the past few months has finally opened. Though my friends weren't that prepared, I dragged them to Clucky's for lunch.

Like Bon Chon and Manang's Chicken, Clucky's also serve soy garlic chicken. Aside from the chicken, they also have Bulgogi and Kimchi meals (which I have to try soon).

I ordered a Wings Meal (Php 139) while my friend ordered a Drums Meal (1 pc for Php 79). You may have your chicken in soy garlic or spicy. Clucky's chicken meals have rice, corn salad, and 12 oz soda / iced tea. As always, I chose soy garlic for my chicken.

The chicken has a good combination of sweetness and saltiness. I found the rice dry that I'd rather eat the chicken only. I wished they served corn and carrots instead of corn salad.

Overall, I'm glad that a new affordable restaurant has opened in that area, where most restaurants are a little pricier. I just think that I have to add something new to the menu every now and then, like dessert?

I'm quite intrigued with the bulgogi that I'm going to try it soon.
