Quick Getaway at Club Manila East

I spent one weekend with my younger siblings in Club Manila East, Taytay, Rizal. Though the place is only a few minutes away from our home, I haven't been there before.

Club Manila East, opened in 1999, is a one-stop resort located in Rizal with amenities not only for swimming but also for surfing, zipline, beach volleyball, and even kayaking. Club Manila East is also the perfect venue for events like parties and other activities like seminars, team-building, and conferences.

As soon as we arrived, we were brought to our Cabana. Our cabana has its own tables, chair, mini kitchen counter, fan, toilet, and shower room. It can accommodate 10-15 persons.

Pools and Other Amenities

Here are some of the amenities that you can enjoy in Club Manila East:

Kiddie Pool

This 100% child-friendly pool includes a kiddie slide, fountains, and waterfalls.

Kayak Area

Also known as Boating Area, I really enjoyed paddling here. :)

Shaded Pool

Want to have fun swimming while staying out of the sun? CME has a Shaded Pool for you.

Adult Pool

Includes a three-story giant slide.

Lap Pool

25-meter lap pool for swimming programs and water sports training.

2 of main attractions in Club Manila East are the wavepools called Beachwaves and Oceanwaves, where can also learn to surf!

Beachwaves

Oceanwaves

In partnership with PSA or Philippines Surfing Academy, you will be taught the basics of surfing by a certified surfing instructor. I was given basic surfing lessons during our visit, and I was quite nervous since I haven't tried it before.

Our surfing instructor Francis teaching us the basics

The instructors were quite hands-on and would guide you on how to balance, how to keep safe, and many more. What's the verdict? Well, let's say that there are things I can't do, no matter how hard I try. :P

Beach Volleyball
'

Want to play v-ball in the sand without having to travel far? You can do that in CME! They've just finished this beach volleyball court with fine sand, complete with scoreboards and referee stand. It was built according to competition standards for sports competitions or even just for fun. :)

CME Fly

Zipline the whole resort through CME Fly! With the length of 350 meters and the height of a 6-story building, you'll experience adrenaline rush!

Function Areas

Club Manila East also has different function areas to cater to events like seminars, conferences, parties, and assemblies.

Here are some of the function areas you can use:

Theater Hall

The Theater Halls are especially made for seminars and the like, and can accommodate 30-50 persons.

Main Pavillion

Located near the entrance, and can accommodate up to 50 persons.

Other function areas are the Beach Pavillion Hall and Garden Pavillion which can hold up to 50 persons, Event Area and Stage for concerts, and other events that can hold up to 1000 persons, Doña Marcela Social Hall which can fit up to 600-800 guests.

Overnight Accommodations

Club Manila East also has rooms for overnight stays.
