KXP: Kulinarya Experience

A new restaurant has opened near our workplace late last year: KXP or Kulinarya Experience. KXP is a concept restaurant of Kulinarya Kitchen in Rockwell to offer gourmet food at reasonable prices.

I have visited the place several times and I always come back to try more of what they have to offer. 

Some of their pasta dishes have solo and for sharing servings. We have tried the Mac & Cheese (Php 170), Carbonara (Php 100 for solo, Php 250 for sharing), Basil Pesto (Php 125 for solo, Php 310 for sharing) and Tuyo with Capers Spaghetti (Php 130 for solo, Php 320 for sharing).

I was impressed with the Mac & Cheese and the Filipino-inspired Tuyo with Capers Spaghetti (as I am a huge fan of oil-based pasta dishes).

We have also tasted some of their personal pizzas: 3-Cheese Margherita (Php 125) and Longganisa at Kesong Puti (Php 135).

Both flavors are satisfactory and are worth the price. I would love to try the other flavors as well. 

For rice meals, KXP has Crispies, which for Php 120, you can have any of these with rice and veggies: Crispy Pork Cutlets, Crispy Chicken Fingers or Crispy Fish Strips.

They also have the Oven-Baked Rice, with toppings such as Tuna & Mushroom Gratin (Php 195) and Baked Shrimp Thermidor Rice (Php 220).

Bestsellers include my favorites: The Best Roast Beef in Town (Php 235) and US Top Blade Steak with Red Wine Sauce (Php 250).

The Best Roast Beef in Town is served with cheesy potatoes and vegetables. The meat was indeed tender and moist. I was so in love with it, I wish I could ask for more roast beef. 

Another excellent dish is the US Top Blade Steak. For Php 250, it satisfied with steak cravings without ruining my budget. The mashed potato on the side tastes marvelous too. 

I believe that Kulinarya Experience takes on quality comfort food seriously. The next time I'm craving for steak, I know where I should go.
