Primero Casa Filipino, Revisited

Note: This restaurant is already closed.

I had the chance to visit Primero Casa Filipino again, but this time for lunch. In contrast to the quiet evening when I last visited, the place was full of guests celebrating special occasions and spending time together with their families.

The buffet spread includes a lot of Filipino favorites, some of them my personal favorites:

Salads & Appetizers

The salad section has a small create-your-own salad section along with pre-made salads like Nicoise Salad and Macaroni Salad

Delicious appetizers include Egg and Crab Stick Foo Young, Fried Molo Dumplings, and the very spicy Sisig Shooters

Main Dishes

Chili Crabs
Oxtail Kare-Kare

Main dishes include Oxtail Kare-Kare (my favorite), Chili Crabs, Baked Chicken Annatto Espresso, Spicy Beef Ribs Caldereta ala Cubana, Buttered Shrimps, Aglio Olio Pasta, and Grilled Mahi-Mahi. Don't fret about not enjoying the crabs as they'll provide you with crab crackers.

I love that the spread is refilled quickly, so you can eat as much as you can. :)

Carving Station

Roasted Angus Beef
Caprichon

The sizable carving station has Roasted Angus Beef and Caprichon. I loved both types of meat. :)

Desserts

My favorite part of the meal (aside from the meats, of course) is dessert! Primero Casa Filipino has a good variety of desserts everyone would love. There are healthy choices like fruits, Filipino desserts like the Palitaw with Latik and mini cakes like the Vanilla Cake and Pandan Cake. I loved the unlimited soft serve ice cream the most. :)

Malunggay Shake

Don't miss out on one of Casa Filipino's Signature Drinks, the Malunggay Shake (Php 78). It is refreshing and healthy. :) Other refreshments are also available, like fruit juices, coffee, iced tea, and sodas.

Primero Casa Filipino also has Antesala Bar, where they serve Casa Cocktails like Shirley Temple, Mojito Filipino, Black Russian, Casa Margarita for Php 98 only. :)

Primero Casa Filipino celebrates Filipino cuisine in the best way possible. I found myself going back to have more of the Oxtail Kare-Kare (a buffet mainstay, by the way). Located at the heart of Morato, the place is very spacious and can cater to gatherings, big or small.
