The Sandwich Guy

The Sandwich Guy has always been my go-to place whenever I need to eat something quick to fill me up while I'm at work or when I want something I could eat while walking. I love their baked potatoes, which I usually buy for breakfast or lunch.

TSG is a quick-serve stall that serves made-to-order whole wheat sandwiches, pasta, and baked potatoes. Though their packaging is usually for take-away, some branches have tables and chairs for dine-in, like their SM Megamall branch.

For sandwiches, I had Country Tuna (Php 95), which I haven't tried before.

Country Tuna

It has Pacific Tuna in brine with potatoes in lemon aioli dressing, tomatoes, lettuce, and cucumber. This is quite a healthy choice if you're watching your food intake. The tuna filling was generous enough to satisfy my tummy.

I also ordered my favorite, Cheesy Bacon Baked Potato (Php 95).

Cheesy Bacon Baked Potato

The sliced baby potatoes topped with lots of melted cheese and bacon is so addicting! It was oozing with so much cheese, which I really love.

For pasta, I tried the Creamy Carbonara (Php 90).

Creamy Carbonara

Creamy Carbonara is TSG's only pasta dish with white sauce, topped with ham and parmesan cheese. I wasn't disappointed with their carbonara, it was really creamy but I just wanted more cheese. Yes, I'm really a cheese person.

I tried gobbling down everything with my second favorite soda: root beer! Soda-in-cans are available for Php 40. Other drinks like Tropicana and Lipton Iced Tea are also available.

I'm glad that The Sandwich Guy hasn't changed the quality of their food and their service. I'd definitely try their other sandwiches and pasta dishes they offer.

Have you tried The Sandwich Guy? Which one is your favorite? :)
