The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Crosswinds Tagaytay

Our favorite coffee place during our stay in Tagaytay is CBTL in Crosswinds Tagaytay. Not only that it's the CBTL branch that has the most interesting design, but it is easily one of the quietest coffee shops in Tagaytay.

The boyfie and I enjoy the coffee: mine is the Cafe Latte while the boyfie's choice is the Caramel Macchiato.

Aside from the coffee, we both enjoy reading while eating some food served by CBTL. A good breakfast choice is the Eggs Ben (Php 245).

Eggs Ben

Eggs Ben is a healthier version, using Chicken Ham with Poached Egg on top of Rosemary Focaccia Bread with Hollandaise Sauce. You'll never go wrong with this dish.

We also loved their gourmet sandwiches, with the choice of Focaccia, Panini, or Sourdough for the bread.

Salami and Cream Cheese

His choice is the Grilled Chicken Caesar (Php 235) while mine is the Salami and Cream Cheese (Php 235), both well-prepared and quite filling (and yeah, I love cream cheese. :p )

However, the Greek Salad (Php 175) didn't sit well with the boyfie, who found it too oily.

The staff was kind enough to explain that the dressing for the salad was pre-made hence it couldn't be adjusted to the customer's preference. It would be great if the dressing were made in-house though.

Aside from the coffee and savory dishes, you shouldn't miss out on CBTL's cakes -- particularly the Chicago Cheesecake (Php 125) and Toblerone Cheesecake (Php 135).

When you visit Tagaytay, I highly recommend that you visit CBTL in Crosswinds for some peace and quiet, good coffee, and good food. The boyfie and I really had a great time visiting here.
