Organic Food at Potts Point Cafe

Note: This restaurant is already closed.

My friend and I had dinner at the first location of Potts Point Cafe in Manila, at Eastwood Mall.

Potts Point Cafe is an Aussie-inspired organic cafe. Personally, Potts Point looks more like a restaurant than a coffee shop.

I love how Potts Point Cafe looks like a rustic library filled with recipe books on the shelves.

We ordered the Poached Egg Salad Lyonnaise with Bacon, Cherry Tomatoes, Cranberries, Parmesan and Croutons with Balsamic Dressing (Php 280 for solo, Php 510 for sharing) for salad.

Poached Egg Salad Lyonnaise

This is their artsy version for Caesar's salad. I love how the cranberries added a kick to the salad. We really loved this.

For pasta, we had the Salmon Linguine with Capers in Dill Cream Sauce (Php 365 for solo, Php 630 for sharing).

Salmon Linguine

I appreciated how the dish was generously added with salmon. It was so creamy but the taste from the capers is a little overwhelming.

For our entree, we ordered the Organic Roasted Chicken Fillet with Salsa Verde Mango Cream, Garlic Yoghurt Sauce, and Quinoa-Red Rice Salad (Php 355).

Organic Roasted Chicken Fillet

I was impressed with the presentation of this dish. The roasted chicken fillet is quite flavorful and perfectly complements the sauces served with it. It could have been bigger though.

Potts Point Cafe has beautifully-served organic dishes. The prices may be a bit expensive but it is worth visiting. I would love to visit again and try the coffee and desserts next time.
