Green Pastures, Revisited

One of the places I wanted to take A to is Green Pastures, definitely one of the restaurants I love. So we went to Green Pastures for Sunday brunch.

We started with the Caesar Kale Salad (Php 400 for small, Php 560 for large) and Harvest Chowder Soup (Php 220). For drinks, we had my favorite, the Organic Melon Green Tea (Php 120 per glass, Php 190 for refillable).

Harvest Chowder Soup

Their version of caesar salad is refreshing, with shaved Parmesan, konbu roast chicken, grated pecorino, lime squeeze on kale, and romaine with a runny egg on top. I love the traditional caesar but I will take this any day. We also shared the Harvest Chowder, a bowl of light creamy soup with river shrimps, squash, bacon, potatoes, and corn. I'm so glad my date insisted on trying the chowder, it was so delicious.

As much as I want to order my favorites (Duck You! & Pinoy Eggs), my date wanted to try something new so we got the Steak Caprese (Php 550). However, I put my foot down on the choice for pasta and ordered us the Crab Meat & Sea Urchin Pasta (Php 425 for solo, Php 585 to share).

Steak Caprese

The Steak Caprese is a deconstructed dish of grass-fed beef, heirloom tomatoes, mini mozzarella balls, torn basil with lemon EVOO vinegar syrup. The beef could be more tender but still, it is an enjoyable dish to eat.

Crab Meat & Sea Urchin Pasta

One of the best pasta dishes I have tried is the Crab Meat & Sea Urchin Pasta, a simple yet delightful spaghetti dish that is as impressive as the first time I've had it.

We were both too full for dessert so we settled for the Organic Coffee (Php 105 per cup): Sagada for him and Benguet for me.

Organic Coffee

Never miss on the pour-over local coffee from Green Pastures whenever you visit.

It is always a splendid experience at Green Pastures. The organic dishes and drinks are as amazing as ever. I was glad A was impressed by it too. I'm looking forward to more of what Green Pastures has to offer. Kudos!

  1. It looks glorious! But the prices are actually meant for those people who live on a "greener pasture" hehe kind of pricy, I say! Although from the looks of it, it might actually be worth it... hmmmm...

    1. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. I do hope you'll try it soon, Jhanz :)
