Kamala's Boutique Guesthouse, Chiang Mai

For our Chiang Mai accommodations, I used the services of Airbnb once more but booked a guesthouse this time. I came across Kamala's Boutique Guesthouse while I was looking upon numerous accommodations in Chiang Mai.

We booked a Deluxe Room with twin beds for our 3 days 2 nights stay in Chiang Mai. The person in charge of bookings, Pimm, was kind enough to give us the room with a balcony.

To say that our room was spacious seemed an understatement. You can fit a family of 5 and still wouldn't feel cramped at all.

Our room has a dresser, open cabinet, cable tv, mini-fridge, a safe locker. Bottled water is also provided daily. Wi-fi connection is also quite fast.

The bathroom was also beyond our expectations in terms of space and cleanliness.

The location was also very convenient, as McDonald's is just at the corner of the same street, and Starbucks and other restaurants are also nearby. Also quite convenient as landmarks when we lost our way around Chiang Mai Sunday Night Market.

The guesthouse was very secure, as they keep the doors closed at 11pm (but they will instruct guests about this during check-in, and be given keys if you'll be outside beyond that time).

Pimm also helped us book some tours around Chiang Mai (Thai cooking school, Chiang Rai day tour and Maesa Elephant Camp), and gave us directions (and a map) as we walk around the city on foot.

I should also mention that my clothes smell so good and neatly-folded when I sent them to their laundry service (50 Baht or Php 68 per kilo).

We surely had a great stay at Kamala's Boutique Guesthouse, and I definitely recommend them if you're visiting Chiang Mai.

Note: We booked the room for Php 2818 for 2 nights via Airbnb.
