Subic Bay Venezia Hotel

Though I've always gone to Subic since I was a child, I've never spent a night there until a few weeks ago, when our travelers' itch took us to Subic Bay Venezia Hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of SBMA. It's one block away from Harbour Point Mall, Freeport Exchange, and a few blocks away from Waterfront Road (where most bars and restaurants are located).

We booked for a Standard Room without breakfast (Php 1857 + Php 100 environmental fee). Our room number was located on the second floor, but it seemed like it was located somewhere else. During our whole stay, we never got to memorize it. >.<

Note that the Standard Room is only available to walk-in guests, so if you check this hotel online, you'll not be able to reserve this room type.

Our room has one queen-sized bed, with air conditioning, cable TV, in-house phone, wi-fi connection, personal fridge, and an in-room safe.

The bathroom looks old, but it was clean, nevertheless. It has a hot and cold shower, hairdryer, and complete personal hygiene kits.

We weren't able to try their food, but Subic Bay Venezia Hotel has an in-house coffee shop and a Chinese restaurant on the ground floor. For recreation, there's an electronic casino located on the ground floor as well.

Except for the mind-boggling room number, I have no complaints during our short stay. The service was excellent, as the staff was very accommodating. I really loved the location too. I would consider staying here again when I return to Subic.
