Ace Water Spa

Probably the strictest yet very popular spa that Mr. B and I went to is Ace Water Spa

Ace Water Spa has been featured in television, magazines, and other blogs for a thousand times because of its unique concept: the Hydrotherapy Massage.

The pools have aquatic jets that focus on a particular part of the body. The water has a specific temperature to optimize your spa experience.

Apologies for the low quality of photos as most parts of the place don't allow photography to protect the privacy of the guests.

Rates:

Php 550 for adult and Php 250 for kids (4 ft & below) for 4 hours stay.

What should I bring?

A fitted swimwear (bikini, rashguard, trunks, etc) and towel. Should you not have a fitted swimwear with you, you can rent swimwear for Php 200 for women and Php 100 for men. You may also want to bring your own swimming caps.

What are the other inclusions?

Men and women have separate locker rooms. Each guest will be given one locker to leave their things. I must emphasize that the locker rooms are complete with shower rooms, changing rooms, shower soaps, shampoo, powder, cotton, cotton buds, alcohol, combs, and hairdryer.

Aside from the jet pools, what should I expect to see inside the water spa?

There are hot herbal pools for adults (with cold pool) and hot sauna. There is also a "river" with floaters provided, where you can relax while practicing your balance.

Where can we eat after our treatment?

For the Kapitolyo branch, there's Ace Coffee Lounge located in the lobby, and there are also restaurants in the building and around the area.

It was really a relaxing experience at Ace Water Spa. Water indeed can help with healing and can be relaxing at the same time. I couldn't wait to go back here soon.

  2. I've been to their Banaue branch twice before, back then I wasn't comfortable wearing bathing suits yet, so it was like the first time in my adult years that I wore swimsuit in public. Good thing everyone wears swimsuit anyway so it lessened the pressure. My favorite area is the herbal pool. I like that it's warm and that the water smells good.
