I love breakfast. I feel like a day isn't complete without a cup of coffee and breakfast. As much as I love tapsilog, I also love a simple pan de sal breakfast with a spread that I like. I was glad to be introduced to this new line of natural spreads by Chelcie's Spreads.
Chelcie's Spreads is 100% natural with unique flavors that I haven't tried before. They have the Western Selection, Filipino Selection and Fruit Butter Selection.
I was able to try the Homemade Salted Eggs (Filipino) and Peanut Butter and Pear Infused with Jasmine Tea (Fruit Butter).
Though not the usual flavor profile for spreads, I love the saltiness of the Homemade Salted Eggs with the bread. It works best with tomato and cheese on bread or bagels.
The sweetness of the Peanut Butter and Pear Fruit Butter works just fine with me. The nuttiness complements taste of the pear really well.
Other flavors available are: Indian Spiced Chicken, Wild Mushroom, Spinach and Dill and Roasted Chicken (Western); Spicy Longganisa and Smoked Tinapa Pate (Filipino); Peach with Cinnamon, Strawberry, Pineapple Coconut (Fruit Butter).
All spreads are priced at Php 145 each, either for pickup or delivery. :)
