Bag of Beans in Tagaytay

When we visited Tagaytay, the boyfie and I went for lunch at Bag of Beans.

Bag of Beans is mostly known for their coffee, but they also serve comfort food with a picturesque view of the Taal Volcano.

For coffee, we had the Iced Cafe Mocha (Php 135) and the Iced White Mocha (Php 135).

We each had a bowl of the Soup of the Day (Php 150) and Caesar Salad (Php 235).

Caesar Salad (no bacon)

The soup was good, but it could be less expensive. We had the bacon removed from the Caesar Salad, but the salad was fresh, simple yet amazing.

We also shared Bolognese Spaghetti (Php 340) and Quattro Formaggi Pizza (Php 500).

The serving for the Bolognese Spaghetti was generous, with a perfect sauce-to-pasta ratio. However, I would have appreciated it more if they used a different type of pasta. The menu item I liked most during our lunch was the Quattro Formaggi on thin-crust pizza.

The food was satisfactory and the service was excellent, but it gets to be quite crowded and the parking space is limited. However, I would love to go back here for the view and for the coffee.
