Our third and last stop in our Tagaytay B&B hopping is Chateau Hestia in Silang, Cavite.
Chateau Hestia is a European-inspired bed and breakfast, garden restaurant and deli.
Bed and Breakfast
We booked an overnight stay in a Loft Cottage (Php 3500), which includes breakfast for two.
The Loft Cottage is a treehouse-like room, has a queen-size bed on the upper floor with a spiral staircase leading to the garden-style bathroom on the lower floor. The room is well-ventilated with mosquito nets for the bed and a classic-looking ceiling fan.
Upon check-in, we were also given a flashlight to guide us when we walk around the area at night.
I love how our cottage is reminiscent of a European cottage in the woods, with elegantly-designed linens. I love how intimate the cottage is as there are no walls or dividers from the bedroom to the shower room.
We had breakfast and dinner at Chateau Hestia's Viennese-style garden restaurant.
For breakfast, we were served refillable brewed coffee and bread with eggplant dip.
I had Sausage and Cheese Omelette (Php 385) while the boyfie chose the Belgian Chocolate and Cream Cheese Pancakes (Php 365).

Served with homemade bread and garden side salad, the omelet has slices of debreziner, bockwurst, and cheese sausages with mozzarella and parmesan. I love omelet and I was immensely impressed with the Sausage and Cheese Omelette. It's a must-try.
What blew us away was the Belgian Chocolate and Cream Cheese Pancakes, with generous amounts of chocolate and cream cheese, with whipped cream and Callebaut chocolate chunks.
The breakfast menu is available all day so you can have these dishes anytime.
Our dinner was as amazing as our breakfast.
For starters, we had the Mushroom Fritters (Php 195), Alt Wiener Erdapfel Suppe (Php 175), and Hestia Mixed Green Salad (Php 210 for petite, Php 320 for grand).

The Mushroom Fritters are deep-fried oyster mushrooms served with tomato salsa and mango beurre blanc. I liked the fritters but it was served a bit too oily. Alt Weiner Erdapfel Suppe is potato soup with caraway and fennel seeds. I loved the soup and salad, both well-prepared and delicious.
For pasta, we ordered the Ragu alla Bolognese (Php 395) and for pizza, we had the Margherita Pizza (Php 385 for 8 inches, Php 590 for 12 inches).

We were seriously amazed by the Ragu all Bolognese and Margherita Pizza. I love the thin pasta and I loved the huge serving and the flavor of the sauce. The Margherita Pizza is made simple with tomato, pesto, and mozzarella on top of homemade thin crust, which we really loved. Both dishes are highly recommended.
The boyfie also ordered a bottle of red wine to compliment our lovely dinner.
For dessert, we shared 2 scoops of Homemade Gelato (Php 195). We had the Ferrero and Limoncello flavors.
Though it's not the most amazing gelato I have tried, the taste of the Ferrero was distinct that I would love to have it again.
Adjoining the restaurant is the deli, where you can buy cold cuts, cheese, wine, and other European food products.
Other international brands are also available should you need to buy souvenirs and other goodies.
We really had an amazing stay in Chateau Hestia. Our cottage was beautiful, the service was impeccable and the food was one of the best we had in Tagaytay. I can't wait for us to go back here soon. :)
