Rustic Mornings by Isabelo

Six years ago, I went to Isabelo Garden Restaurant for one of the most memorable dinners I ever had. On the same year, Portia Dee Baluyut (the owner) opened Rustic Mornings to cater to walk-in customers during the day while keeping Isabelo Garden open for dinner and for reservations only.  Eventually, the owner closed Isabelo Garden and focused on Rustic Mornings.

I remember that the garden looked almost magical at night, but it looks just as majestic during the day. My friends and I got seated in the outdoor area, but there's an indoor area if you prefer a more private space to dine.

I chose to order a breakfast platter of 27 Toast, Eggs, Sausage, and Hashbrown (Php 300) with Fresh Pineapple Juice (Php 120), while my friends ordered the basics Original Buttermilk Pancakes with Coffee (Php 220) and Crispy Plain Waffles (Php 200), with add-ons: Hashbrown (Php 85), Egg (Php 25), Bacon Strips (Php 75), and Sausages (Php 100).

Everything looked like it was made from scratch: from the pancakes and waffles to the hash browns, which we loved. The pancakes were thick and fluffy and the waffles are huge as well. My eggs were really fluffy but I wished there were more eggs on my plate, however, I liked everything else on my plate. Also, I loved that my pineapple juice was fresh.

Rustic Mornings by Isabelo's service was fantastic and the ambiance is perfect for a daytime meal. Although the food was of good quality, I found it a little pricey for breakfast that I wished I ordered pasta or rice bowls instead. Still, I will return to the relaxing environment and the amazing service.
