My good friend, fellow foodie, and travel buddy Karissa found a good opportunity abroad. But before she left, we had time to have dinner at Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen.
I have visited Ikkoryu late last year and I was excited to revisit to try their other ramen dishes.
For Kobachi (or appetizers), we ordered Gyoza (Php 150 for 6 pcs) and my favorite, the Chicken Karaage (Php 180).

Here's an advice: never miss out ordering the Chicken Karaage. Then ask for more Japanese mayo. Happiness achieved. :)
For ramen, Karissa got the Ajitama Tonkotsu (Php 380), while I tried the Black Garlic Tonkotsu (Php 380).

While the Ajitama Tonkotsu has the right amount of creaminess and mildness in flavor, the Black Garlic Tonkotsu is otherwise. I like the strong taste of the Black Garlic Tonkotsu that comes from the special roast garlic oil. However, it may appear too greasy or oily compared to the other ramen dishes. Although I would love to order this again, I would share it with a friend since a bowl is too much for me to finish.
The food was of good quality and the service was excellent. I couldn't wait to try more ramen dishes from Ikkoryu, and of course, my Karaage!
