Vittorio's Steakhouse

Note: Vittorio's is now located at 32 Scout Borromeo Street, South Triangle, Quezon City

Openrice invited me again last month to try out two things: the new app called OpenSnap, and this new steakhouse in Quezon City named Vittorio's Steakhouse. Barely a month into operation, the resto's head chef, however, is not a newbie. Chef Victor has been in the food industry for years and has worked both locally and internationally.

Vittorio's menu, a mix of Western and Eastern cuisines, is quite straightforward.

For the salad, we were served Chop Noodles Salad with Miso Dressing (Php 190).

Chop Noodles Salad

A generous serving of salad, with lots of shrimp and delicious dressing. I'll certainly have this salad again. :)

We also tried the starters, Butter Garlic Shrimp (Php 270) and Calamares (Php 235).

Calamares

The aroma from the Butter Garlic Shrimp was simply too hard to ignore. Sage advice: wipe that butter sauce off the plate with the toast served with it. The Calamares was served with two dips: garlic vinegar and wasabi mayo. I love that their version has thin yet crispy batter.

Another incredible starter dish is the Salpicao (Php 325).

Beef Salpicao

The beef was cooked for hours to achieve that melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. Love it!

For pizza and pasta, we had the Thai Chix Pizza (Php 275), Crab and Shrimp Pizza, and Clams Pasta (Php 320).

I'm personally not a fan of thick crust pizzas, but the toppings were superb.

Clams Pasta

The Clams Pasta is also very generous and can be shared by 2-3 persons.

For the entrees, we were served the Lemon Buttered Fish Fillet (Php 385) and Baby Back Ribs (Php 380, half rack).

The Lemon Buttered Fish Fillet is served with rice while the Baby Back Ribs is served with fries and corn. The Baby Back Ribs is not exactly the fall-off-the-bone tender but the flavorful sauce makes up for it.

A visit to this steakhouse seems incomplete without the Australian Ribeye (Php 499 for 280 grams), the Porterhouse (Php 2285 for 780 grams, Php 2590 for 980 grams) and the Pan-Seared Hanging Tender (Php 445).

Porterhouse

I'm a huge fan of steaks, and I love how tender the steaks are. I've noticed that we weren't served any gravy, but I realized that there wasn't a need for any. The steaks were flavorful enough that it could be served on its own, well, it is a lot better with the steak rice and fries on the side. The prices were very affordable for a steak place.

For dessert, we were served a lovely Banana Split, with scoops of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream.

If you are looking a place with amazing food at reasonable prices, Vittorio's is the place to visit. The service was excellent and the dishes were delicious. Should I crave again for steaks, I'll surely head out to Vittorio's.

  4. I'm eyeing that Beef Salpicao. I'll try OpenSnap, sometimes it's hard to look for a resto's IG or Twitter so this is a great feature.

    1. Maybe you are comparing a 27-ounce steak to an 8-ounce steak? ;)
