A few days ago, my fellow foodies and I went on a trip up north to try this lovely buffet restaurant in Quezon City named The Buffet.
The Buffet has opened last year and has been creating a buzz among buffet fanatics, especially to those located in the north.
We were pleasantly surprised at how luxurious-looking the interiors of The Buffet is, from the entrance to the dining area.
The Buffet has a wide array for selections, from appetizers to main dishes to desserts, which will definitely make your mouth water.
For starters, the selections include a variety of bread and cheeses, baked oysters, banchan (or Korean side dishes), salad bar, pizza and even a nacho and taco station. :)
Asian favorites include sushi, kimbap, and dim sum.
Some of their stations are interactive, like the Pasta station and the Crepe station.
I was also impressed with their meat, seafood and veggie selections in Barbecue and Teppanyaki stations.
But the station I loved most? the Steak station! :P
There are also choices of Western and Asian dishes for everyone to enjoy.
One of their biggest stations is the Shabu-Shabu station, with lots of choices for veggies, meats, seafood, and other toppings.
Thanks to our nice server for helping us set up our shabu-shabu at our table.
You can choose two kinds of broth for your shabu-shabu.
Available only during weekend dinners is the Baby Back Ribs, which they serve tableside.
Also included in the buffet are drinks, like fruit juices, tea, coffee and even fruit shakes. I really enjoyed my favorite shake, the Watermelon Shake. :)
For desserts, there are cakes, candies, and pastries. Aside from the Crepe station, there is also a Halo-Halo station, where you can put all the halo-halo toppings you like.
The Buffet also caters to special events like birthdays, weddings and other social gatherings, as they have function rooms on the second floor.
The Buffet is one of those restaurants that has amazed me with its vast array of food selections from various cuisines. For a reasonable price, we have enjoyed shabu-shabu, steak, sushi, barbecue, and many more. I will surely go back and bring my family and friends here soon. :)
