B & P, Revisited

Note: This restaurant is already closed.

I went back to B&P with a good friend a few months after I first visited this lovely all-day breakfast place in Shaw Boulevard.

While waiting for our orders, we had their signature drinks: Lemon Celery Pandan (Php 110) for me, and Strawberry Lemon Quench (Php 110) for my friend. I love their Lemon Celery Pandan, but my friend found her drink a bit too sweet.

We were served with Don Malutong (Php 275) and Baked Macaroni (Php 190).

My favorite rice dish in B&P is Don Malutong, the crispy pork belly on top of garlic rice and scrambled eggs. The serving is so generous that my friend and I were able to share it, like the Baked Macaroni. We liked the Baked Macaroni as well.

For dessert, we shared Banana Toffee Caramel (Php 180) over cups of Brewed Coffee (Php 70).

The Banana Toffee Caramel should be served with a scoop of ice cream, but since there wasn't ice cream available, the staff replaced it with whipped cream instead. Not bad, though. However, I wished they have something lighter for dessert.

Aside from the ice cream problem, I have no problems with our dining experience in B&P. Our server was very attentive and we had a great time dining at this lovely place. I should go back soon for more. :)
