Grabbing J.Co Donuts and Coffee

I admit: I rarely line up for anything, and I haven't been to J.Co for the donuts, but for the coffee. One food tripping day with a good friend led me to give in and grab some J.Co donuts for the family. Luckily, this particular branch doesn't have this crazily long queue like the branch near my workplace.

J.Co Donuts costs Php 42 per piece, Php 230 for half dozen, Php 350 for 1 dozen, and Php 550 for 2 dozens. To save money, it is more sensible to buy 2 dozens.

1st box: Oreology, Don Mochino, Tiramisu (1st row),
Oreology, Don Mochino, Avocado Dicaprio (2nd row),
Oreology, Berry Spears, Choco Caviar Strawberry (3rd row)

2nd box: Black Jack, Black Eyed Seed, Alcapone (1st row)
Black Jack, Crunchy Crunchy, Alcapone (2nd row)
Mr. Green Tea, Why Nut, Alcapone (3rd row)

My parents and I love the Alcapone, while my brother loves the Black Jack and my sister the Oreology. But I really liked their new flavor: the Black Eyed Seed, which has this delicious black sesame filling.

I have yet to try the other flavors, particularly Cheese Me Up (because I love cheese!!!) and their froyo. I've had their coffee before, but I have to try them again.

Is J.Co Donuts worth lining up for? Definitely! I love that their donuts aren't overwhelmingly sweet and not greasy. I love the unique flavors too! I hope I'd get lucky again so I wouldn't have to line up for some J.Co goodness. :P

Have you tried J.Co? Which flavor is your favorite?

  1. You'll get lucky as well with their branch located on Roxas Boulevard. I've not set foot on the place, but I get my J.Co chocolate fix there. I ask someone to buy for me ... looks like I need to drop by soon to try their coffee 👍

  2. Wow! :) Last time I saw a not-so-crowded JCo was back in Eastwood. Good for you, you were able to buy a dozen or two without the usual waiting time of one hr or more! :D

    Hehe!

  6. I love the Black Eyed Seed! I used to always get Why Nut but Black Eyed Seed is my new fave. I prefer JCO to other donut brands because its not overly sweet. :)

  7. I looove the green tea donuts they have! I don't like lining up either, especially for food, haha. But I find the Glorietta branch of JCO, the one right across SM Makati, doesn't have a line (or a long one anyway) when you go in the mornings or at certain hours :)
