Le Ching Tea House



Our project team decided to have lunch at Le Ching, one place that some of my workmates frequent for comfort food. Though I regularly visit the Greenhills area, I haven't tried Le Ching before but I was always curious about this popular Chinese diner. 

Le Ching has two spaces in Shoppesville, the second one called Le Ching Too. Le Ching Too was less crowded when we arrived.

We first had Dimsum: Taosi Spareribs (Php 85), Hakao (Php 99), Seafood Roll (Php 102), Taosi Chicken Feet (Php 85), Shark's Fin Dumpling (Php 85) and Beancurd Roll (Php 99)

All of us had Topped Rice, which is good for two persons (or one hungry person. hehe). We had Spareribs Rice (Php 148) and the bestseller, Beef Brisket Rice (Php 148).

Topped Rice is usually served in tall metal bowls, which would seem unpretty at first. However, it would change your mind as you eat the beef brisket, which was so tender that the only thing that hindered me from finishing my bowl was the heat, as the topped rice is freshly-cooked. 

I was truly satisfied with the food we had that it made me a lot more curious about their noodles and congee. Now I understand why people keep on coming back to this place. I can't wait to get my hands on another piping hot Beef Brisket! :P

  4. le ching has the best taosi spareribs! i always look through the menu each time i'm there but i always end up ordering the spareribs rice. will give the beef brisket a try next time and maybe the seafood roll too :)

  7. this has been my fave Chinese resto since the 90's! their Banawe branch I believe is the oldest one, where I got to try it for the first time. yummy pics! :)
