Where to Stay in Cebu (Part 1): Fuente Oro Business Suites

For my recent Cebu trip, we planned on staying in Cebu City for the first 2 nights and in Mactan for the last  2 nights. We already had a Mactan hotel booked a few months before the trip, so I only had our Cebu City hotel to worry about.

I called/emailed some hotels a few days before our trip (but I wouldn't recommend last minute reservations, try to book your hotel at least a week before the trip). And we stayed at Fuente Oro Business Suites.

Fuente Oro Business Suites is conveniently located near Fuente Osmeña Circle, One Mango Mall, Robinson's Cybergate, and Crown Regency Towers.

We booked the Superior Room at Php 1500 per night.

Inside the Superior Room
Study Table and LCD Cable TV

The Superior Room has one twin bed and one single bed. Our room has a telephone, LCD cable TV, hot &  cold water, daily complimentary bottled water, and daily breakfast for two.

They also have complimentary wifi and a coffee shop in the lobby.

at The Rooftop

Complimentary plated breakfast is served from 7:00AM to 10:00AM at The Rooftop. Breakfast is served with coffee/juice and fruit.

Baconsilog
Tapsilog

For my 2-night stay, I had Baconsilog and Tapsilog. Other breakfast choices are Corned Beef, Cereals,  Omelettes, and Waffles. Additional breakfast costs Php 150. :)

What I really liked about this hotel is its proximity to restaurants like Zubuchon, One Claypot House, Bo's Coffee, Sunburst, Dimsum Break, and even Casa Verde. It's a few blocks away from Larsian, Robinson's Cybergate, and Crown Regency Towers. If you want to have a massage, the hotel is also near Yo-Bi Spa and Nuat Thai.

The staff was really accommodating, that they even helped us with how to commute around the city. They were also quick to respond to my booking inquiries.

If I go back to Cebu, I'd love to stay at Fuente Oro Business Suites again. :)

  10. I think it's actually affordable. Traveling is more convenient when you're with 2-3 people cause you can split the cost and still stay in nice hotels.

What do you do when you go to Cebu? Aside from eat. :p

    1. We tour the city and buy lots of pasalubong! ;) I still have to explore Cebu beaches. I'm not much of a beach person kasi. :)
