The Avengers: Worth the Wait

It's been almost a year since I've mentioned here that I can't wait for The Avengers, and finally, it has arrived!

Having watched Thor and Captain America last year, I promised that I'll watch it on its first day, but I ended up getting sick (and wasn't able to attend Mike Chan's event too).

The movie begins with Loki, Thor's adopted brother, who went to Earth to get the Tesseract a cube with immeasurable power. With Loki moving freely, Nick Fury realizes the "Avengers Initiative", which is an assembly of superheroes who can protect the world from extreme danger.

The Avengers are Tony Stark (Iron Man), Dr. Bruce Banner (The Hulk), Captain Steve Rogers (Captain America), Thor, Natasha Romanoff, and Hawkeye.

Conflicts start to arise among The Avengers but just like any other superhero team-up, they put their differences aside to save the world. (Yey!)

Though I don't read Marvel Comics (I stick with Pugad Baboy, Archie, and the likes), I really got obsessed with The Avengers! I was still wishing Eric Bana played Bruce Banner (sorry, Mark Ruffalo! But I'm really in love with Eric Bana). I didn't find any dull moment in the movie, it was really action-packed. Plus, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans are enough for me to swoon.

I can't wait for The Avengers 2, Iron Man 3, and Captain America 2.

    2. I have a feeling that that movie will feel more like a 'Bourne Legacy' or 'M.I.' thing; more than a superhero flick. STILL! I'd watch it if it's Jeremy! HAHAHA!
