TLC Final Chowdown: Who Won the Challenge?

I was again invited by TLC-Discovery Channel to witness the TLC Final Chowdown last April 22, 2012, at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. The event was hosted by Ramon Bautista and Erika Liporo. Mike Chan (of Sabado Boys) kept us entertained with his live performance.

Before the actual chowdown, the audience was asked to participate in 4 mini-challenges from the partner restos: Gong Cha (500 mL Milk Tea with Pearls), Sbarro (2 slices of Great White Pizza), Napa Bar and Restaurant (Salad and Buffalo Wings) and Gerry's Grill (Tuna Sisig and Rice). There were no time limits for the mini-challenges. Awesome prizes like GCs and other items were given to the mini-challenge winners.

The Final Challenge

More than 30 challengers who won from the TLC Chowdown from the participating branches of Sbarro, Gerry's Grill, and Gong Cha took the TLC Final Chowdown Challenge. The challenger should finish half of the 18 inches Great White Pizza, 500mL Milk Tea with Pearls, and a half serving of Crispy Pata within an hour.

And the winners for the TLC FINAL CHOWDOWN are the following:

3rd place: Perry Asporin (6 minutes, 59 seconds)
Php 5000 cash plus GC from the partner resto worth Php 10000

2nd place: Rafael Antonio Suing (6 minutes, 58 seconds)
Php 10000 cash plus GC from the partner resto worth Php 15000

1st place: Justin Cardano (5 minutes, 7 seconds)
Php 15000 cash plus GC from the partner resto worth Php 25000

I had a great time watching the whole event, though I'd never attempt on doing even the mini-challenge. The challengers just enjoyed the whole experience (and free food!)
