Sambo Kojin Yakiniku Smokeless Grill

Note: This location is already closed.

I'm forever a fan of Sambo Kojin that I kept on coming back since I was asked to do a restaurant review for a food club in my company last year. (We have these interest clubs in our company, think university organizations.)

My friends and I would always go to the Eastwood branch since some of our friends work in Eastwood, but this time we tried the EDSA Mandaluyong branch.

Fresh meats, sushi, tempura, and other specialties

I was told that the EDSA branch is bigger than the Eastwood branch, but I think otherwise. However, it took a while for the place to be full, unlike the Eastwood branch. We didn't even get a reservation before, which I have never done before.

For those who aren't too familiar with Sambo Kojin, it is a Japanese-Korean grill-and-eat-all-you-can restaurant. As I've mentioned before, I'm not a big fan of Japanese food, but I love meat and grilling.

Sambo Kojin offers fresh meats and seafood ready to grill like squid, marble beef, tender beef, shrimp, and many more. You can also enjoy Japanese specialties like tempura and various kinds of sushi while grilling the meat. Kamameshi rice is also a must-try.

What I love most about Sambo Kojin are the desserts!

my ice cream!
Sambokojin has a great array of desserts like cakes, pastries, fondue, and ice cream! I would always indulge in the Big Scoop ice cream. Love it!

Here are the rates:

Monday to Friday:
Php 495 – Lunch
Php 595 – Dinner

Saturday and Sunday:
Php 595 – Lunch & Dinner

I'm going back soon! :)

  10. I've been here once! I think it was in the Edsa branch. :) It was really 'magulo' though. The place was so crowded and there were too many people. What I like about them are their sauces though... so many to choose from!

    1. Hi Mary! Yes, it can be quite crowded since most people come in big groups. Yes, the sauces complement the meat and the seafood well. :)
